Classic Teak's School Design a Bench Competition
Currently we are running a competition to try and get school kids thinking about the impact our everyday living with wood products has on the environment, for example, furniture, paper and fuel.
The schools were provided with a teaching pack on the importance of FSC certified timbers and products, ensuring the source of timber is responsibly managed and regulated.
We have invited each school to put forward students' bench designs, with the first prize being a visit to the factory to watch their bench being put into production and then donated to their school. We will also provide £150 worth of funding to the winning school in order to improve their green ethos!
